The other day I was reading an interview by famous MMA icon Frank Shamrock on the site http://www.mmaonline.com. I was never much interested in MMA previously and had a number of arguments with my husband over the utility of watching it and spending hours in front of TV. But reading the interview as well as the MMA News changed my perspective forever.

Frank has discussed at length the various memorable MMA tournament fights in his life and given his view on some of the toughest competitors that he has faced. According to him, he put his best performance against Tito Ortiz. I was surprised to know that many fans of boxing are switching their loyalties to MMA in a big way. Of course there are some detractors who try to malign the game. But the MMA authorities have imposed certain restrictions and regulations on the players to rule out any chance of foul play during the tournaments. I also got to know about the grand UFC tournaments that are becoming increasingly popular with the MMA fans. Now I watch UFC matches with my husband on the TV and fighting over the remote has stopped in my household.
